LINE VOLTAGE SELECTION FOR THE EIS-147:

Leslies in the 147 and 251 families use the AC mains to control the Leslie speed. For 110/120 volt models this is always 110/120 volts.

However with 147 and 251 Leslies made for 220/240 volt operation things are not as straightforward. Some 220/240 volt 147 and 251 models used a 220/240 volt tremolo control relay, while other 220/240 volt 147 and 251 models used a 110/120 volt tremolo control relay!  The EIS-147 and EIS-147A are available with either a 120 or 240 volt input. However the relay voltage of the particular Leslie MUST be determined before ordering so that the proper version can be provided.

Most 220/240 volt 147, 147A and 251 amplifiers have a sticker identifying the relay type.

If you can not locate an identification sticker on your amplifier, it will be necessary to look under the chassis and read the input voltage which is printed on the actual relay.
