SELECTING THE CORRECT LINE VOLTAGE FOR PRODUCTS WHICH ARE INSTALLED IN THE ORGAN CONSOLE:

When used outside of the U.S., special care must be given to specify the correct line voltage for all Trek II products which require connection to the AC power line.  Although many of our products are available in both 110/120 volt and 220/240 volt versions, this is not the case for every one.  In addition, because a product may be installed inside an organ which is connected to an external step-down transformer, the fact that the local line voltage is 220/240 volts does not automatically determine that the 220/240 volt version is appropriate.

The following guidelines are provided to make selection easier:

· The 110/120 volt version is appropriate for use in organs which were originally manufactured to function on 110/120 volts. This includes 110/120 volt organs being used in 220/240 volt areas with an external 220 to 110 volt step-down transformer.

· The 220/240 volt version is appropriate for use in organs which were originally manufactured to function on 220/240 volts, or have been converted to 220/240 volts by replacing the internal motors and amplifiers with 220/240 volt parts.

The organ line voltage can be found on the organ model / serial plate.
