The LCR-40 is a reproduction of the original retainer plate used on many Leslie tube model amplifiers that have plug-in filter capacitors. The center hole in the LCR-40 has been made slightly larger than the original to allow trouble-free use with current production plug-in capacitors which sometimes have a slightly larger diameter.
