CRK-122 COMPONENT KIT

The CRK-122 Component Kit provides high quality replacements for the electrolytic capacitors, film capacitors, and low-power resistors used in the Leslie 122 amplifier.  Also included is a new CTS volume control, schematic and detailed layout drawing. The kit can be ordered with or without the 4-section plug-in filter capacitor.  Not included in the kit are: transformers, rectifier diodes, and the 5 and 10 watt wire wound resistors, as these rarely fail. Also not included in the kit are the components associated with the relay control tube and mechanical relay, since the kit is designed to be used in conjunction with a Trek II EIS-122 solid state relay.

Proper installation of the supplied components will usually restore like-new performance to the amplifier.  However since tubes, tube sockets, and transformers are NOT replaced by this kit, there is of course no guarantee that installing the kit components will resolve all amplifier issues in every case.

This same kit can also be used to convert 147 or 251 amplifiers to 122 type.  When this is done the amplifier ID tag should be replaced or revised to reflect the change.  Our LID-122 aluminum ID plate provides a convenient way to do this.
